In the context of a competition opened by the European Commission, the Jean Monnet Module "A Digital Europe for Citizens. Constitutional and Policymaking Challenges" was awarded (Project 101085671 — DigEUCit — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The project is coordinated by Graça Enes (Researcher and Coordinator of the CIJE) and includes in the team Inês Neves and Tiago Morais Rocha (CIJE Researchers) and, in administrative support, Manuela Santos.
This project, with financial support of the EU, aims to enhance excellent teaching and research regarding Digital Europe and its constitutional and policymaking challenges. While fostering dialogue, discussion, and the exchange of ideas between different target groups and relevant stakeholders at local, national, and international levels, it focus on citizens. The project builds on the challenges, risks and developments that arise within the European Digital Strategy, the Digital Single Market and the European Data Space, while also focusing on Fundamental Rights, Digital Citizenship, Democracy and European Values, as well as Digitalization, Public Policies and Cybersecurity.
